SELF SERVE HORSE ACCOMMODATIONS

Self-care pens $20 per horse per night.
Must call to reserve horse facility
- Pens ranges from10 x 20 to 20x20.
- Fenced area for exercise available.
- Feed and water containers upon request. Easy excess to water
- Owners are responsible for the care, feeding and cleanup of their horse.
(Outside horse caretakers can be hired by horse owner.)
Limit: two pens per room rental
Guest must sign a waiver releasing Star Ranch and anyone associated with Star Ranch for all liability in case of accident or injury.
Star Ranch Lodging requires a Coggins no older than 6 months from your arrival date. NO EXCEPTIONS. Health Certificates no older than 20 days. you can email your documents to starranchbnb@gmail.com prior to arrival, or prepare to show copies when you arrive.
If you forget the Health Certificate call your Vet and have them emailed to Starranchbnb@gmail.com If your Vet cannot or won't comply, call ahead and we'll try to get your horse into the Vet down the street. Sorry, we will not allow any horse onto the property without the proper paperwork.
Required Horse or Mule Travel Documents
For Domestic (Interstate) Travel in the US
Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI):
This is a health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian within 10-30 days of travel. It verifies the animal's health status, includes a temperature reading, and can be a requirement for crossing state lines.
Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) Test:
A negative Coggins test, issued within one year of travel, is required by federal law for all horses, mules, and donkeys.
Permanent Identification:
You may need permanent identification for your horse, such as a microchip or brand, to link it to the health certificate.
